This has led to the appearance of various treatments for this purpose, but unfortunately most do not work as they say. We can find in the market a number of forms such as: pastes, gels, gums, lozenges and coatings to name a few, but if you try any of these bleaching treatments, all it accomplishes is wasting your money.
Clinical tooth whitening: This treatment is provided in our clinic in with the most effective and safe system in the market. Treatment is supervised and managed at all times by qualified dentists who specialize in whitening and cosmetic dentistry, ensuring the work to our patients. It is a treatment in which nearly 80% of cases are available in a single session of 40 minutes with satisfactory results for the patient, without causing any side effects or any pain, at best you may see a certain sensitivity which transmit in 24 to 48 hours. If these results are not achieved either by a severe staining or any problem detected, the patient can repeat the sessions without any contraindication.
Outpatient dental whitening: In this treatment, the patient can get evening sessions in the comfort of their home, with satisfactory results. This treatment is also used for maintenance over time from the clinical tooth whitening results.
How safe is Tooth Whitening?
After a decade of research is has been shown that tooth whitening with bleaching agents and other methods used for the same purpose are safe and effective. Several products on the market today have shown they do not produce any adverse effects on teeth and gums checked by careful clinical and laboratory studies.

In the past, bleaching agents used by professional produced sensitivity, today for products for bleaching, such as gels, have less concentration that decreases sensitivity and in turn provide the benefits of whitening. The sensitivity can occur in individuals when they consume very cold or hot food after undergoing a whitening treatment, but usually disappears after 48 hours and stops completely when treatment is completed.
